Should i do up the interior and if so how

i was just wondering if i should do up the interior of my Diablo Red VT exec right now it seems abit dull

any suggestions on how i can make it better would be helpfull.

Diablo red high lights, vinal paint, or the metalic red inserts for the dash could be kewl or silver

Personally, Anything Past a VP does not deserve Vinyl Paint, if you want to do the interior in a newer car, that already has a pretty flash interior, take it in and get done properly.

Sure you could paint things but in a VT I think it'd just go downhill.

Take it into an automotive trimmer/ ulpholsterer and ask him for a quote, then repeat that process of about 2000 times.. With as many as you can find, theres a heap in Street commodore mags etc that show some of their work etc.

Talk to them about your options and find out what you'd be happy with, if you just wanted to do your seats at a starting point, that would make a huge difference. Then you may want to carry on. It's an expensive path if you do it properly, but if you don't put the money into it.. It's going to look cheaper then stock.

Subtle Changes

I have a series 2 vt berlina, i started by spraying the dash fashia panels in a silver like on the SS, put in silver monaro door air vents, a silver 250km 3 window display instrument cluster, vy cruise control arm, vy variable speed wiper arm, statesman 10 stack cd unit, vy series 2 SS leather steering wheel (buttons were tricky but got em working fine), all looks very slick but also factory but people do notice. :drink:

I also put in chrome satin door handles.
got it dumped, FE2 suspension, 18inch HSV rims, debadged, chrome grill, SS tailpipe, tinted windows.
colour is bermuda blue, sweet ride...... :drink:

Get the door trimmings retrimmed in diablo red leather or synthetic.

vt exec did you buy the seats with the HSV trim on or did you modifiy your seat's to fit the HSV trim.
