Hey guys, I wanna lower my new baby, and I was wondering how much lower King Low springs are than FE2?

I Dont want it too low as it will scrap like a mofo getting up my driveway. Was thinking lows on front, super lows on back. How much lower will this be than fe2 in the front and back??? cheers

Should have searched the topic...
I've covered it a couple times...

Kings springs go as follows

L, SL, SSL, SSSL

Low, super low, super super low and super super super low respectively.

The kings L spring is almost identical height @ the FE2
SL is an in lower
SSL is another inch lower
SSSL another inch lower again..

I recon you should go SL all round to keep it practical and legal!

Good luck with it

K so if i got super low all round, it will drop it an inch from FE2. Sounds good.
Cheers

No drama...
Most people i think will agree that SL all round looks good when matched with some nice rims and is still very practical!!!

Keep us posted!

You dont want to go to low or you will need camber kits for the rear and you will have trouble with some drive ways. My vt-s is an inch lower than fe2 and i scrap on some driveways.......

Lows are about 3cm and SL's are about 5cm..

FE2 is about 2.5-3cm.. The front will stay the same and you'll probably lose the top bit of the tyre in the guards..

Go SL's all around. It looks nice and mine doesn't scrape anywhere..

Springs are about $240..

About $200 labour to put em in.. I got them done at a wrecker for $100 cash.. But ask around for labour..

You may want to get shockers too, $100 for normal ones. $200 for shortened shockers..

the standard fe2 shockers should be fine for SL springs an lower you will need new shockers or you get a really bad ride.
