need lsd

i have a 99 series 2 vt v6 commodore , it isnt lsd and i want it to be whats the cheapest way of going about converting it without weldiing it lol , i live in perth so if anyone nos anyone that coudl help me out then much appreciated

Cheapest way would be goin to a wrecker n gettin a diff from there...
That will set u back about 300bux plus someone to fit it...
The gamble there is that it might be a POS...

Im gettin an LSD with 3.73 gear put in hopefully in the next couple weeks.
But im gettin it brand new n dirt cheap from HSV caus they have a surplus of 3.73 LSD apparently! (Still up in the air abit)

Though im in Melbourne so i dunno if the same goes for where u are...

dude, come on.... wats the chance a vt lsd would be thrashed. not like everyone thrashes their car. sounds like u do..... it could be a grandma diff, lol. plus from the wreckers, you usually can get a warranty.

Yeah i give it a fair stomping...thus the need for the LSD caus im sick of taking of and not goin anywhere while one wheel spins...

I recon there is a 50/50 a LSD out of a VT has been thrashed...Though that would be the Cheapest option

As for getting just the internals on ur current diff changed to LSD it would probably cost more... caus the labour involved in taking it all aprart n putting all new bits in...
Not totally sure about that though... but so far everyone i've talked to jst replaces the whole thing

as said man i got a step by step here on removing and replacing ur diff

very easy to do and i have a 3.08 diff
so get under ur car check the tag on the diff to see if urs is 3.08 too and ill sell this one to ya cheap, only done 10,000ks

hey blake im from perth too and trying to find a lsd to try to look for a written of vx ss as i think they have 3.45 lsd which would be sick on a vt
