sump washer

does anyone know the size of the washer on the oil sump plug. i have noticed the last couple of times it is looking pretty tired. or can you get it from Holden?:thumbsup:

just get a copper one, as a standard crappy metal one wont do crap.

Might be an idea to get a new sump plug too if it is looking a little shabby

When you dump the oil next time take the plug to Sprints etc. to get a new one.
Sprints sold me one last week for $0.80 which has a rubber insert in the middle.

While you are at it, get a magnetic sump plug. It will collect any metal filings that are in the bottom of your sump for you, like the magnets in an automatic transmission.
