Well in light of my previous thread, it was a gearbox that was dead, ive got another one now, from a vx v6, but its sat in garage for about 3 years~!

I wanna put new oil through it !

What grade of oil do you put in a Getrag, and what kind etc

In the T5's it's best to use synthetic auto gearbox oil like a synth version of dexron iii if you want them to last and shift well. I'm not sure it the getrag likes the same stuff but you can google it:)

When you are ready to change do yourself a favour- consider PM Lubricants oil without any additive.
It is a mineral oil that carries extremely high loads, which result in less power less before the wheels.

You dug up a thread that is one month of 5 years old, why didn't you just start a new thread?
