vx ss exhaust sound

On my vx ss im currently running advanced extractors with a 2 1/4 exhaust , not happy with the note its producing,lacking the true grunt sound - any ideas muchly appreciated.

I would go a dual 2.5 inch system from the cat converter back, that'll give u a nice V8 sound

high flow cats will make it sound better
ether go twin 2.5
or stick a cam in and twin 3" zorst and it will sound sweet

twin high flow cats, and a 3" system. dont stinge out on it either save some pennies and make it a decent one :thumbsup:

I got a quote a while back on a sigle high flow cat for my car and they wanted like $300 suplied and installation, though this is for a V6

i heard theres no point on putting a high flow cat on a V6.

There isn't.

Twin 2 1/2" mandrel bent system with straight through mufflers would be $620. Hi flow steel cats are $190 each. Do not use ceramic cats on an LS1.
