Perhaps even consider a vx, if you are after a exec with lower k's and probably not much more $...

Oh yes welcome aboard!

Also there is a sticky at the top of this forum that has a link to common faults of vts etc. Good place to start if you are looking around and want to know what to look out for.

thanx guys 4 your replies,

Yes I'm after a V6 model.. im intending to spend about 5000$ on it.. I just want something basic to start of with and ill build it up..

Is the 4500$ an auction price. I've heard they come cheaper at the auctions but would love to know the range before i go.

True but think of it like this, The price is low and if your lucky to get say a repo car it's cheap for that reason And you get what you pay for..
Like my car i couldn't drive it so in some ways it was a large risk just buying it even though it was very cheap, It wasn't until i had the car repaired i finally drove it and all was very very good so i was happy then.

You might be able to have an RACV check it over there?
