Cracked Diff Cradle???

Just a quick one, i'm pretty sure i have a cracked diff cradle...i got a mate to reverse the car slowly, and i could actually see the negative camber increasing. has any body else had this problem??? it just so happens that i just got a mini spool put in.

Where would i go to get it fixed???

jack the car up an inspect your irs cradle... Its not as common in cars that are just thrashed, but shifting way too hard and and minispools are not nice for them..

IRS cradles snap, i've done it, a couple times..

Def a common problem. Holden apparently rectified the **** IRS setup in VX somewhere.

if the vx s2 will fit, this would be a good buy yeah???? already has the camber kit installed, and is supposed to be stronger than a vt one

Looks like a good price. Might want to get him to send you pictures.

While your there, i'd still weld a plate over the top, if your planning to still drive spiritedly

what i ended up doing to my last one an it lasted til the accident, clean it up with a drill & wire brush before fitting, weld in a plate or 2 on the irs cradle to give it strength..

I have purchased some bit from this guy(outside of ebay)i trust him as a seller and i found him honest.

Id be interested to know if the VX2 cradle ect can be swapped for VT1 rear.
