Tranny jumpin out of gear

Howdy all.

My T5 transmission keeps jumping out of 2nd gear and it beginning to be a bit of a piss off.

It happens when I change down from 3 to 2 and if it doesn't jump out it grinds in.

Other times I may already be in second, accelerating, and as soon as i come off the gas it jumps out.

any ideas what it could be? Only happens for 2nd, as 1st 3rd 4th n 5th are all fine for th emo.

Sounds to me like the 2nd gear cluster is worn or has a few brocken gear teeth.

Had in my head that it would be synchros but I may have to check this out oo.
