Hello all

From info I can get VXII start from 8/2001 but the car I'm looking at buying is a May 2001.
My problem is they say that VXII chassis numbers are 6H8VXK69AI-------
and this is what the start of the chassis number is on a May 2001 car.
The last digit should be a Y for series one
Does anyone know if there is such a thing or do I have wrong info

Thanks

Mark

There where slight changes such as wheel trims front air vents on s2 were cross hatched s1 was straight up and down if its fitted with cruise s1 had square controls on the indicator switch and s2 was round.
hope it helps

A may 2001 build will definately be a Series 1. The differences are only minor and are limited to different indicator and windscreen wiper stalks, different grille, different wheel trims and the series 2 also have control link rear suspension. Resale will be no different between them, as they are both 2001 models.
