Left Blinker staying on after Locking car.

I have struck a slight problem with my VZ . Sometimes when I lock the car with the remote the left blinkers front and back stay on no blink .
The car locks properly and if I start the engine with the blinker still on no fault code appears on the computer .
If I then lock and unlock the car it returns to normal . It happens intermittently and has flattened the battery one time when I must have missed it after the car sat for a few days in the garage. Got me stumped , all I can think is a fault in the security system maybe.

Bcm issue very common with vy vz wk wl did it both in my wl statesman vy Calais

Its actually a relay in the BCM, replacing the BCM itself can be pricey.
You can find the relays on eBay.

Thanks heaps for that info excellent stuff. I can do that as I have a solder sucker and a temp controlled soldering iron and have done a bit of PCB work. Getting it all out will be the hard part for me I think .
