indicators flashing to fast

Ok so i relocated my indicators today (i drive a lexcen so they were in bumper, they are now where the indicators should be) anyway The hazards work fine, no problems, but when I indicate left or right they flash to fast, like flash and extra time... what could be the cause of this? all wiring has been done with male and female joiners, but they are male and female ones all in one. should i change these to proper male and female joiners? or what do you guys reckon?

Are all your bulbs working? As fast flashing is a sign of a blown bulb.

sounds like you have a blown bulb or a earth fault

all bulbs working fine, bulbs are new, and they are wired up the the original earth... so maybe i re-earth them with a new earth??

Yeah, that would appear to be the only other possible cause, if the bulbs are ok.

check head light plugs are fully connected and not dirty

put the hazards on, go around the car and triple check they are all working.

All bulbs are working with hazards, i also re-earthed one of the indicators and put the indicators back on and still the same thing...

Could it be because the terminal the bulb is in is in the old parkers terminal thing? do you think i will need to get the whole indicator unit and use proper things or does that not make a difference?

I now have no indicators at all
