hey guys i have a black manual thunder vz 6L ute and a few mods listed below aswell as a valve springs upgrade and a mafless tune obviously.. these are the figures.

camshaft- 232-234
exhaust - twin 2.5
manifolds - extractors
induction - OTR
gear 4

power 284rwkw@166kph

torque 758N.M @ 128kph

motive force 1571Lb@ 128kph

I have roughly about 2K to spend on some new mods and im interested in what would be best? im thinking a head package if so how many kw will that give me roughly cheers.

Might want to consider the intake manifold before heads or do both at once. Not much point having sexy heads if the manifolds stops them being used.

It will improve the performance but I couldn't quote you a HP figure. It won't not work if that's what you're worried about. Just do some research into the heads first. Don't get something with a too many CC in the combustion chamber, you'll loose compression.

The stock manifolds on the 6Ls are very good. I wouldn't waste an money on an aftermarket one with your mods. A mate tried a couple of different manifold options on his ute with similar mods and gained nothing (went backwards with a couple). Another mate is making 350rwkw and 750Nm N/A, has tried nearly all aftermarket manifolds with no success, has gone back to the stock one for best results.

Giving you estimated power gains is pretty hard, the weather can even affect how much power you get from your engine.
I would recommend a turbo if you can find one cheap enough. Failing that OTRCAI and have your gear ratios changed for more power, but that's just my 2 cents. Chances are someone will come up with something alot better.

heads should put you very close or over the 300rwkw mark a mate of mine had a l76 auto with a 224/228 cam with heads and it made 307rwkw
