Been a while since my last post on here but was doing some work on The Calais and thought i may as well take some pictures of the process.
This Tutorial is to show you how to change the Oil in your L67's supercharger's snout, I can't seem to find a clear set interval for how often you should do this, some say you dont others say every service.
It doesnt take much time at all, the oil cost around 70 bucks for the 2 bottles you need, If you're "lucky" enough to work at holden you will be able to pick it up for A LOT cheaper. For this reason i will be doing it every second service.
Tools
-5mm Hex key
-Something thats good at sucking (no not your mum)
This is the oil you need, and yes you need 2 bottles
First thing you need to do is Jack the car up, as high as you possibly can, not forgetting to use jackstands.
Now take off all the wheels.
Your car should now look like this
Once the car is nice and secure get your 5mm Hex Key and undo the plug on top of the supercharger
Now use what ever you can manage to find to suck out the old oil (there is no drain plug)
I managed to find my Grandma's douchebag, was perfect for the job.
Once all the old oil is sucked out You can spit or swallow the choice is yours
Replace with new oil, it takes almost all of the 2 bottles, should have a little bit left over.
Then simply tighten the plug back up and re fit the wheels, lower the car and you're on your way
