Finally replaced by broken pedal from February today and am ordering some grips tonight too, hoping to get back to Lysterfield in the coming weeks with the weather picking up.

I can highly rate the Zero Force grips, moved to them a couple of months ago and they haven't let me down, wet or dry.

cant go wrong with lock-ons.
personally I like ODI's, all my bikes have their Ruffians on them.

but in the end it all comes down to feel and what you like.
I just find them amazing with gloves, once worn in, they have so much grip and last ages.

looks like ari is going to need some training for his ride.
time to get him riding more

My other wheels

This is my bike which I have had for a couple of years.

Just got it back out the other day after 12 months off due to too many close calls with a couple of trucks and cars.

And this is in rural Yarraman.....pretty ridiculous.

But decided to give it another go.

quite tempted to grab another race frame, but cromo instead of alu.

not this frame (although same brand S&M), but loving this colourway (would be custom painting for the other frame)

Went out to the local lumps to try out (and bed in) my new Shimano M785 brakes. Holy **** these things are nice, screw you Avid.

i went today 15km circle. slow as all fk. but with the pumps trip yesterday thats 50kms in 2 days.

slowly stepping it up. working on endurance first then ill work on pace.
