So they want $65000 for a 2015 redline with an aftermarket SC?

Mate this would be worth $40000 max the minute you take it out of the showroom

Yep, though it has had some other engine work too apart from the supercharger. When you consider the mods done to it, and the fact it is still new, the sell price isn't too bad. All in all though i could spend $20k on mine and bring it up to the same power levels.

Although it's not personally costing me a cent (company car) I think I'll give this one a miss.

Fierce car... but the $50k in mods on top of new purchase price with an asking selling price of $45k tells the story of diminishing return on investment. That's why that stealership making you pay through the arse for the modded used Redline makes no sense.

There is little point having a blower on your daily driver in our heavily policed environment. Unless you want to smile every time you drive the car. I have had my blower for 2 months so can't comment on the long term issues but none at all so far.

Admittedly I only do about 8000k a year but driven normally I can't see any long term issues. As mild mannered as it is I have yet to have a reason to go WOT, no point you are already way in front. Treated with mechanical sympathy it is just a fun experience that should last 10 years with a conservative tune.

Cammed cars arnt good dailys, unless you have a fuel card. With a blower you don't really need the cam, unless looking for that extra HP up top.

The more power you have in your car the less you use the throttle. The acceleration has you speeding in seconds

because the rare time you could actually use WOT legally you generally get stuck behind some person who is daudling! :p
have to agree the more power, the less you seem to use it. While its nice, you just get used to it.

as for a SC daily. it depends on your circumstances. if you do a lot of freeway driving then yep potentially. but if your always around town, youde better have that fuel card.
although personally, id rather keep a daily get around and keep the fun/powerful toys for the weekends.
