lol, someone who doesn't know you willing to sacrifice their credit to satisfy you? HAH, i pity the fool who would ever do that. I wouldn't even get something for family in my name let alone a stranger. It is too easy a thing to ruin, to hard a thing to fix.

ejhorwood, at least your mum would consider it for you, my parents would laugh at me and tell me im dreaming and im responsible when it come to using my phone (i have to pay for it and i use $30 in credit per school term - every 10 weeks approx). im 16 to btw

I turned 18 in june, and i tried for a plan but nope rejected twice so i ended up buying the phone i wanted LG U880 on 3 and i just use 3 prepaid. much safer option.

ive been on a contract since i was 16 (now 24). for the first 2 years it was in mums name, then just got it changed to mine. i pay 102 a month and that includes my calls and everything (cos im on a capped plan). plus i claim it as a work expense cos its listed as business phone with ABN :thumbsup:

Why dont you sell your VR as you are to young to drive a car, go buy your
phone with it and if you have any money left over you can call a cab !

I'm on contract now and can't wait to pay it off. It's the biggest waste of money ever. I stupidly enough signed up so I could get a phone. Should have sticked to my prepaid pay outright costs. While on a plan you can't save money. You can't put your phone away for three months and not spend a cent.
And I don't see what there is to get over on prepaid? Running out of credit?
Buy in bulk, its beneficial anyway. Or get your bank to give you a visa debit card. Then you can do it over the phone
