I have Question my L2 dash loom already has the yellow/black wire runing in it from ecu dash plug so do i still have to run the yellow/black from the 4th plug to ecu plug or can I just tap into it at instrument conn 1 where it runs to

i worked out why temp light was comeing on, on dash I had instrument conn 1 upside down
