  • Gday delcowizzid, hopeing you can help me with my turbo setup/tuning questions. Im currently doing a turbo setup on my series2 vs manual ecotec, just a basic setup of:
    Stock motor
    gt3582r china turbo
    log style manifolds
    50mm wastegate
    intercooled.

my dillema is when it gets to tuning side of things, ive been told to run 2 bar map and dyno tune with no maf? Ultimatley I will go with this but I would like the idea of gettin it all going on low boost for now to iron out the bugs and get a feel for boost! Is there a way I could run the stock maf and no 2bar till im ready for a dyno tune?? And if so is that something you could knock up? Sorry bout all the questions, this really is starting to do my head in. Any help much appreciated, thanks in advance!
Btw was planning on running 36lb or 42lb injectors and a walbro 400 intank..

Hey delco how you going mate? Hey just wondering iv just upgraded my vs series 3 v6 to a Tremec T56 box, and have changed the crown wheel and pinion to a shorter 3.89 turns to 1 ratio and was wondering if you could do me a mail out tune on a memcal with an altered ppk value? Ill figure out what the numerical value needs to be in a reply if your interested but I was thinking while your there if you could work some delco magic into the map for me :D its pretty stock ATM and will definately use you when I'm finished building the other engine but all components are in good nic just reco'd injectors, pretty much every sensor is new and iv got even compression , all it's got is a shitty exhaust so would be sweet to spice it up with some delco magic that iv heard so much about.... Let me know cheers. Kris.
thanx, another issue i am having trouble with the engine check light

original conversion did not wire it up (Hilux VP mtr) in trying to connect a lght i have taken switched 12 volts for ign sw. and other side of light to pin A5 still no luck?? (have also tried another ecu) should i connect the 12 v to a 12v pin on ecu? say A6 or A7, B1,

    regards
Hey delco, I'm having a bit of trouble wiring up a buick into a hilux and I think you're the man to speak to when it comes to wiring and the buick motors. Anyway, the trouble I'm having is that I have all the harness plugged into the motor but I'm not to sure where to go from there. What wiring do I need to have to get it driving and running well and what can I do away with. I have a relay/fuse box out of a vp commodore and a dash cluster out of a vp aswell. Also do you have any easy to read diagrams? Cheers heaps mate, Appreciate it.
Hi mate im looking for a base tune for a vn series 2 v6 running an sc14 at 8psi asap! I pm'd you but not sure if you got it or not? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Regards dan
hi am running vp auto on aftermarket lpg IMPCO 225 with ADP controller

    using a AWUY memcal

all works good as EXPECTED with usual issues

have recently obtained a genuine BBMM memcal which when installed only runs on LPG not petrol?

do i need to run a 12v wire from the fuel switch to pin A1 ?

    regards
Hi Delco I have a nvram obtained from vl400 and I need a tune I have a freshly rebuilt l67 with a crow cam no 8531562 specs here http://www.crowcams.com.au/media/catalogues/39.0%20Holden%20V6.pdf

It's also running a 10psi pulley and has extractors hooked up to a 2 1/2 inch full length exhaust the engine is in a vs ute with a getrag 5 speed. There is no boost solenoid or egr valve hooked up.

What's the possibility of you doing a safe base tune for me to get it running and sending me the file to burn directly to my nvram? I also have a standard Memcal I could send to have a backup tune on.
