Hi mate, provided they're both v6 engines, they will not interchange. They're totally different engines and it will not be legal to do the swap. The vz has an alloytec engine and the vs will have an ecotec.

Hey, i have vx commodore sedan at home, and am thinking of buying a vz ute with a blown up engine.. The engine in the vx runs well.. But im not sure if it will fit. So does anyone know if its possible to put the engine out of the vx sedan, into the vz ute ? will that work ? or is it different size / specs ? cheers.
