hey matt,
sorry about the late reply i havent been on in ages.
if your still wondering first you need to pull the left hand side cover peice off, then you need carefully lift under were the clips are one hand above and one hand underneath the plastic trim, the clips are heaps strong but they will pop, just make sure you pull exactly were the clips are. you also need to take off the wiper blades and remove the washer hoses.
its a bitch to do but you will get there. i also found using a screw driver to lever the clips didnt help it just snapped then.
