Who's Your Insurance Company?

Howdy,

I own a VY V6 Manual, and am looking at superchargin in the near future.. Small Problem is that my current insurance company (SGIC) wont insure me if i do.

So i am looking at other insurance companies, Just Cars seems to be the most suitable so far?

I cant be the first person with this issue, Others with aftermarket superchargers, turbos etc. What have you done???

Just Car are a rip-off i heard, even though they're part of AAMI :S

ah ok... i just did a online quote with JustCar and its $100 cheaper with a supercharger and other mods than i currently pay now.. Might have to give em a ring..:yeah:

Shannons are good, if you have a 100% clean driving record (which includes warnings going by what the last consultant told me)

They also have their own underwritten agency that insures high risk people, but you wont be getting things like agree'd value etc

They also only insure drivers aged 25 and over.. That's what they told me and what ruled me out from Shannons..

I rang about a year ago, and they were quite happy to insure a 21yo with a V8, until they got to the driving record thing

I know of a guy on another forum with a fraud conviction that managed to get insurance
