Read the fine print and speak to your crash repairer. They will have an idea of who is the best to deal with when it comes to making claims. A repairer I used to use years ago had a "top 5 list" of insurance companies that he would recommend to his clients, surprisingly one of them was APIA. I'm with CGU and they are one of the worst for dealing with repairers when it comes to paying up apparently.

If you go for the lowest quote, chances are they will rip you for something, whether that is your rating come claim time or no choice of repairer.

I was talking to my smashy. RACV rejected a claim for one of his clients because he had tinted windows and one other thing, even more trivial than the tinted windows.

Neither of them contributed to the accident at all, but because he didn't inform them, he lost out badly.

I'd personally steer clear of RACV, unless you have a perfectly roadworthy and stock (unless you've told them about EVERYTHING) car.

i told em about everything on my car and all is good..........extractors, exhaust, 18" wheels, suspension kit, stereo, etc etc etc

im with nrma, there no good if u want to lower your car much they will only allow 30mm lower than standard
