    That sounds like it might be the best stepping stone if that is the case. Rather than 284, go the 286 ( I will need new springs as well though), run it with the nanas and when I get sick of that (or can afford it) throw on a new mani for some more hp and fun!

    I have 2 tunes, one for stock 195cc and another for super6. The 195cc's keep up as its only around 250rwhp. The super6 items have stacks for head room as to be expected.

    Has anyone had a cv joint for the rear axles let go? Mine went and i wasnt doing a burnoit or anything. It just clean broke apart. It was only 2 months old. Aftermarket as i didnt think i'd be able to get a genuine one anymore. Has this happened to anyone else?

    True, and i dont think you can buy new cones anymore. However both of mine have had lots of km's and the diff shop has reset them and they have been tight, so you can stike it lucky with them.

    If u look closely they are written on the plugs which plug into the ecu from memory, alternatively maybe do a search u might find a wiring diagram. R u fitting a knock sensor to go with memcal you spoke of in your other post?

    If its out of a clubby it will have the knock filter board in the memcal. Maybe the cops ran the 185kw set up in some cars, but mine and all other ex chasers i have seen is the standard tune. As above they are no different anyway, except i have read they had a higher idle for the big alternator.

    I think there is a bit more to it then that, those looms go with a high level bcm which your ute wont have. Not sure how you would go then with the abs not there. Or you may be able to look up the how to threads for both power window conversion and climate conversion and keep your bcm?

    Probably easier to get a vp-vs one mate, even lsds dont go for much these days. If its non-abs and your vr is, just get the stubb axles swapped over.

    Are you letting your fuel pump prime before turning it over? Turn your key to on, hear he buzzing sound then start turning it over. Dont use any accelerator at all, with fuel pressure up the ecu will do the rest. If i dont prime mine, or if i press any accelerator, it hates starting Mine...
