Well I had travelled atleast 40k's while on petrol light, so when filled up it may of had 3 or so litres left. But only took 62 litres, out of a 75L tank. which seems odd!!

Yeah look every car is going to have problems im aware of that, but this calais is just starting too annoy me too some agree (leather, trim, insurance, fuel) its currently sitting at 12.7/100 which isnt too bad but but better would be good (I travel 120k's a day to get work and home)

Yeah the power isnt the worry, its if it will work and ruin the motor. Vapour seems like a good idea although at 5k is a tad expensive.

globe is fine, but when I put it in place and lock it the light does not work. Though when I hold the globe onto the contacts it works, so seems the contacts are out of whack im guessing.

Its leaking where the transmission sits on the passenger side of the car, and yes its leaking when I park it and only seems to leak when engine is cold/off. cheers

hey guys ive just discovered I have a minor oil leak,ive jacked it up and degreased it all but am yet to see a sign of where it could be coming from. It also seems it will only leak when its cold, any help is appreciated of where to look/common problem.

Sounds fair whacked out too me, im assuming the trip computer is judging this as I assume the car dealer just tops up the fuel every now and than so hasnt read it properly yet. But would like another opinion on this. As my VN5.0 uses 15Lper 100k's, so surely the v6's couldnt use any more than...

When I test drove this car at the dealership today, on the trip computer it said its using 17.5 Litres per 100kms. This couldnt be right? The car has low k's and runs like a gem, could it be because dealers put 5litres of petrol in these things and its judging off that? Cheers

What fuel is recommended to use? 95 or 98? Im close too work and traffic isnt a issue, I just sold my VN5litre and that thing averaged 15L per 100km. Thanks guys!

I had good fuel consumption in my SS I could easily push it to get 400-450'ks out of a tank.

Great time for christmas the gremlins have found a way back, was at the settle lights on a hill and sounded like it was running out of fuel (70ltrs still in it) than a mate jumpd started and had to hold the revs pritty high for a while. 10k's down the road does the same thing while im driving...

I had a similar problem when I first bought my car, though I was loosing coolant due to loose hose clamps and the radiator cap was buggered. Like other people have mentioned go over all the hoses/connections with a torch, even better get it pressure tested at your mechanic..
