guys just wondering whats involved with installing and wiring up a vs ss bumper onto a standard front ? will it just fit straight on ? any help would be appreciated

yeah make sure to check for oil pressure when you start it, but sounds like coolant is finding its way in with oil if you describe a " Milky residue " just a guess ???

Ok guys the time has come, i love my comme wagon too much to give her away si its time for a new engine. i recently purchased a vt 3.8 one, now i need to know, what new mods will i have to do computer ect ? ( keeping in mind i have mechanical experience ) any help would be great :thumbsup:

yeah mate my guess is that if there is bubbles appearing in your radiator when the cap is off, it may be a headgasket.

perhaps there may be a slight blockage somewhere along your lines? i had the same problem a while back and changed my fuel filter, runs fine now...

yeah i agree with harvs82, the temp sender on mine was faulty so i replaced it and it seems fine, fans should kick in when about 3/4 the way up on the temp gauge.

i dont know if this is any help mate, but my mate replaced his rear main the other day. he said you remove the gearbox, undo the fly wheel and for god sakes make sure the torque convertor stays back in the gear box or else fluid will go everywhere he reckong. and yeah there is a tool to fit the...

guys just on this i have the EXACT same prob in my vs wagon. yesterday i put new super low king springs in my vs wagon and now it makes the knocking/grinding noise everytime i turn! its starting to p*** me of big time. where can i get this sirap stuff?

guys just on this, ( dont mean to be rude by interupting) my wagon is doing the same thing. im not sure why but i put in new front springs the other day and now when ever i move the wheel it makes like a knocking noise.

what i was told that the macpherson struts didnt even have camber/castor adjustors ?? then again my source wasnt exactly reliable... lol

yeah as i said man, theyr'e missing the centre caps. but its weird ive never seen anything like e'm... best way to describe em is basically an 18 chrome version of the VR Clubsport mags.

hey guys i am looking for a certain type of mag wheel, (try your best to picture it as i havnt got any photos) lol. the rims are much like the VR Clubsport 5 spoke version. Although the ones im after are an 18 inch chrome version. just hoping if anyone knows of a good mag/wheels factory...

Ok thanks guys but one more thing that immortality suggested, would it really be necessary to replace the brake lines aswell? is this just for the sake of the bigger calipers or something ??? cheers

yeah guys just on this topic, im thinking of puttind dba rotors in my vs, how ever if i do this im also thinking of getting VT calipers. any ideas/thoughts would be great and also what about the back??? cheers

Hey guys, I am considering upgrading my brakes on my vs wagon. I will have new DBA rotors at the front and am thinking of also getting some bigger calipers. ( vt perhaps)? also not sure about the rear. any advice would be great cheers

Hi, Just interested if anyone had info on replacing the top idler gear on my 3.8 vs. the reason for this is it is somewhat worn and making an annoying noise, do i just back of the self adjuster and unscrew it? cheers

And one other thing, does this mean i will have to replace the DFI module along with the coil packs? or does that not needed to be removed at all?
