hi all.. i replaced my oil pressure switch and my SVS has gone ( and did a oil change at the same time).. but have notice that some of my options menu are gone.. they disapear at the same time my SVS fault for my oil presure switch showed up but they were there before SVS fault.. anyone got any...

i unplug the connector from the sender and i have no oil in there.. have read on the forum that a few have had there oil pressure sender show up the SVS fault... and have had to replace it..

2 weeks after i did a oil change to my car.. it made my oil pressure sender go faulty.. now i got to change that.. the oil i used was Castrol Magnatec 10W-40..

so does the scan tool pick up that fault.. or is that a different sort of fault.. the scantool a got is maxscan gs500.. and at this satge iam still learning how to use it and what to look for and what it can do.. thanks for the help

did the fault go away after you change the switch or did you have to clear the fault with scan tool after you change the switch?

i all so had the same.. took it to the dealer and said going to cost $320..they said it was the oil pressure switch.. went and brought a scan tool max scan gs500 the other day and when i connect it up and to see the error code.. i see none come up..as in there are no errors with the car.. can...

but would holden put on the tag high performance instead of LSD to make it sound better for people who wouldn't know what it means? and thank's anyone for there help in finding the meaning of high performance..

my plate in the engine bay tell's me my axle is GT9(does anyone know what this is?) and does high performance on the tag on the filler plug mean LSD?

the tag fitted to the filler plug on the diff, what should it say on it to be lsd.. mine said high performance.. any clues?? lSD or not??

does anyone know were to get the tech2 program and cable from.. and i rang my holden dealer and said it cant be done.. more like dont want touch it..
