Just had a closer look and the bolt is missing/not put back in , I dont think it has fallen out it would show signs of hole sloged out which it does not have and also there is dirt/oil/road film built up on cradle where bolt head would be normally be. Are these bolts removed when adjusting wheel...

These are couple of pics of my vy s1 ss diff cradle , I know that they are prone to failing from time to time but braking here? One side is missing the nut and threaded bolt end on the other side cradle mount has snapped off. I dont do burnouts or hard launches but do drive it how it should be...

all good I found it 4.4L on castrol and mobil web sites cheers anyways ill show mechanic that.

THANKS for all the help guys , work all done and now it handles so much better and more traction off the start . I took it to the mechanic to do diff pinion seal and gear box oil ,it needed to be done under a hoist . I gave them my own oils I had brought , when getting my gearbox oil leftovers...

ok that makes it easy so just fill up untill it starts to come out top hole, correct. My gear box is runnig sweet but just a piece of mind knowing its been done, it only done 100 000 km. While im under the car doing diff pinion seal , diff oil ,diff cradle bushes and nolathane solid diff...

What to do in 100 000 km service ? vy ss manual sedan . what fluids ? engine,gearbox, diff ,brakes ,ect or just change all fluids problem solved. is there anything to look out for ? any help I would be very greatful cheers

With the gear knob pull on it straight up, the silicone glue may have let go.If it has clean off old glue and reaply,it is not on a thread. if its the same as vy ss gear knobs correct me if im wrong. be aware the gear knob material will come with it so disassemble that first so ya dont fork it...

hi there marv1k what are ya after ute or sedan and with what extras are you looking for km, leather, manual , hard cover , exhust mods ,wheels , ect ect...... were abouts are you. Im looking for another ute so ill keep a look out ,if theres one in ya area.

Im no battery expert but I think this may be a large as you can get (as above ), correct if im wrong . My new one is 430cca if that means anything to ya . hope this helps it means fork all to me,its bigger than my old one in cca size.

heat what up? The clips are slightly different 2mm-3mm bigger so now glove box rubs on inside of dash board when opening / closing. cheers Phil

Just checked out both links and i found meself a acdelco dealer just round the corner from home and the supercharged batterys were in Brisbane so ill go for acdelco at this stage but ill ring supercharge tomorrow to see if they have one closer, cheers for the help andyman much apreaciated...

Is supercharge gold the brand of the battery, was it from a major car parts place like battery world or supercheap just so i can get one in my area. I take it you are happy with that battery.How much did it cost ya .Cheers for the help andyman good help is hard to find sometimes:thumbsup:

I went to Holden today and brought 2 clips ,it cost me a hole $6 . :D

My vy did the same thing im after 1 of the clips in the back of the glove box if anyone can help me out or send me in the right direction to a wreaker that will have one in the Gold Coast area. I"d hate to think what Holden want for one.
