U are in the right place if the ABS light flashes, remeber the sets of flashes repeat three times before changing to the next fault and when it finishes it ends back at 12. Code 31 is RHR wheel sensor. Rember pin 12 gives ABS codes not engine ECU codes.

Try disconnecting the battery earth for a few mins and reconnect it, you may have to reset the stereo code. Otherwise check wiring to all sensors including outside temp if u have it

Have checked the sensors with ohm meter and all ok may use scope later also maped out rest of wires and all are connected including the one to the diag connector so at this time beer oclock I will give it a rest and in the morning change back to the spare unit for another comparison. Thanks guys it has gone out but the new module didnot fully fix the ABS probs start up engine and goes thru diags then all lights off until the car moves then ABS and TRAC OFF lights come on and stay until next startup. Checked Tract switch ok and wheel sensors but a pinout for the ABS module...

Can anyone help me get rid of an X in the left hand window of a VT calais. I have just gone thru a lot of ABS probs and replaced the module (Good price at Repco) not sure if it caused the problem with the X. Have reset the trip computer but not gone into the fault codes yet. Any ideas thanks.:idea3:
