Hey All,

I have just got the car and have been tweaking little issues (seems ongoing) and I have noticed the back and the passenger side locks are sliding good l, however the drivers side door is sticky and isn’t locking when should.

Where and what do I do to fix?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

I sometimes have lock problems (drivers door) after prolonged rain.

All I do if it really needs it is hit it with a bit of oil from the oil can or silicone spray/wd40 etc, but don't breathe silicone spray in cause it is not good for you.
Of course it depends on what part of the lock is sticky as to where you spray.
Also depends on whether it is central lock or the key that you are referring to.
Only you will be able to tell after oiling/spraying anything that moves.
I always work on the principal, if it is supposed to move and it don't, then oil it.

Most people will tell you to use graphite powder in the key lock, I never have.

If it is internal of the door then you may have to remove the door trim and oil anything that moves or is supposed to move.
