Hi guys, I'm thinking its time to get my car sounding better (as it is as stock as a rock atm :( )
I've heard that a 2.5" Redback exhaust is pretty good yet pretty cheap.

Anyone know of any good places to buy one that are cheap?
Also would a general mechanics be able to install them?

I have a VY V6 Berlina

I do Manta, personally I think they sound better than Redback, bit deeper and not as raspy. I can send you a catback with front muffler and rear resonator for $285.

Yes, general mechanics can install them, but they are easy enough to do yourself.

I'm not a car savvy guy when it comes to exhausts and stuff.
Would it be easy enough for someone that's never done this kind of stuff before?

PLUS I dont have anything to get my car up. :/

A jack will suffice to get it up.

It's quiet easy to fit, Even if you havent done anything like that before.

All you need is a socket, 13-14mm from memory, A flathead screwdriver to pop them round clip's that hold the rubber mount's inplace.

Remove the old exhaust, take note where everything is, Then re-install new one.

Get a mate to give you a hand getting it up and inplace, It is doable with 1 person but it's easier with 2.

Not good on a jack only. Stands or ramps
are the go. Although I am guilty of
working under a car on just a jack in
the past....

alright thanks guys. :) i think my mate has some ramps i can borrow.

so i decided to buy this eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d ($215+$40 P+H)
was just looking on the net/youtube and some people say to remove the rear exhaust or resinator or something like that?? should i do that?

also checked out some local exhaust places around my area and the c*nts wanted $600+ for the part plus installation.
so i decided to check out autobarn and they wanted around $400 for the same cat back i just bought.
