Here's my Brothers '05 VZ Calais (Too lazy to create account :p)

What he's done so far:

Darkest legal tinted windows.
19" King Malice rims with Pirelli tyres.
Replaced all interior yellow halogen globes with white LED lights.
Replaced yellow headlights and fog lights with white/blue globes.

Future mods:

Sound system upgrade.
Monaro style bonnet.
CPR6 intake manifold.
Pacemaker 3 into 1 extractors with high flow cats, 2 1/4" Red Back
Raptor supercharger
Would like to lower it about an inch or so.
3.46 LSD I've heard is quite sweet but any feedback on that would be great.

Any suggestions or feedback is very welcome.

Here's a few pics.

Hey there, The Calais apparently has "Sports/Luxury" Suspension. But on the Plate in the engine bay it says STD so I'm guessing it's just standard suspension. And yes same here the SS is my car which I've also put up on the forums. :)

Looks good, calais always a great starting base.
On his future performance mods if he set on supercharging then don't waste money on the CPR6 inlet manifold.
If he was going for every last bit of HP for racing etc then maybe yes but for street duties the gain with the CPR6 on top of supercharging would be hardly noticable if any at all.
Pick one route NA or FI and go with it.
Supercharging to start with even on a std engine would gain more than extractors/exhaust and CPR6 combined.

So would he need the extractors and exhaust if he were to supercharge it? Or no need? I love your senator by the way, I'm a tad jelly :p

He would to capitalise on the blower but even without such things initially it'll still kick him in his arse. Nice looking ride. The new kit by Raptor for the VZ is pretty damned sweet for the cost.

As Pollushon said an upgrade extractors/exhaust would definitely compliment the supercharger.
What I wanted to get across was that the gains from the supercharger kit alone, for its price outway the gains from going the NA route with only extractors/exhaust and inlet manifold.
Also those CPR6 manifolds are quite costly.
Before deciding whether to go supercharged better check that you can still insure the car.
The CPR6 and exhaust would probably not affect most insurance policies but supercharging does.

Just Car will insure it. But agree with surf, $5k on a blower will yield at least 50% more stock than $5k on N/A. And you can keep going, that $5k is only the beginning. I still haven't got headers on mine but I'm out there, smoking 98% of the car's I squirt with.

(start counting the seconds till the 8 brigade offer their unwelcome .2 cents)
