2005 VZ - How to change the light bulb when the auto trans shifter.

All done. Easy as when you know what to do.
You have to twist the light fitting to release it from the console. When the fitting is out, you need to grab the bulb and wiggle it from side to side without breaking it.
When it moves just a bit, it will then pull straight out.
You may need to use one of those kitchen plastic cloth things that you use to grip jar lids etc to hold the bulb so your fingers don't slip.

Which bit are you stuck with, removing the bulb assembly from the console or removing the bulb from the plastic holder?

My globe was also blown and I swapped it over on the weekend. Unfortunately the new bulb isn't a tight fit and was coming loose after a short time...

bulb from console it moves side ways but wont come out

Replaced bulb and put back together all to find shift indicator is missing. Where has it gone?
