245/40R17 fit on VH

I just got some 17x8 VX SS rims to mount my semi slicks to
however 2 of my semi's are 235/45r17 and 2 are 245/40r17
will the 245's fit under the back without rolling the guards?
its 30mm lowered and I have an adjustable panhard bar.
and and its a VH wagon

probably not i had 245/35r19 on my vh wagon lowered adjustable panhard and i had to roll them and then still rubbed now and then

I had 235 45 17s and never a scrape ever.. What ofset are the wheels?

no idea what offset they are stock VX SS 17x8

Was it not for 180's comment I'd say they'd fit then?

Dont just worry about offset, sidewalls and upper profile of tyre come into play. I had some 245/19s that would scrub occasionly, went down to 225s and had them scrub all the time on some XHP rims. the 225s had gutter guard edging on tyres and went straght up to the tread from there, the 245s got narrower as they went towards tread. HSV rims were a better fit as the track was a few mm narrower either side.

you will find they scrub on the inside wheel well whilst going in driveways etc depending on how steep the step to how bad, the wagons seem to have shallower wheel tubs to the sedans.

I used to have 17x8 hsv clubby wheels with 235/45r17 never scrubbed at all on out side but did as above inside but the 19's where +45 offset 245/35 and scrubbed worse inside then the 17's and with rolled arches scrubbed the outside as well.

You may get away with it on the outside with the 17's but it will be bad on the inside.
