Took it to a shop this morning to get the pipes from the extractors to the single 3" exhaust made up, more $$$, and then trying to get it to wa performance to check my afr and get a second dyno reading. But just to avoid confusion the old exhaust was twin 2.5" to single 3", the outlets on my new headers are 3" so I have to match up that so the exhaust will then be twin 3" to single 3" (for now, the funds are running out lol) then down the track prob go twin 3" to single 3.5" or twin 3" all the way with a cross pipe.

Your probably better off going twin 2.5" all the way rather than going into a 3" single with only 1 muffler. Also fit a balance pipe.

if it is 3" outlet on Extractors, use a reducer to bring it down to 2.5", keep twin 2.5" and through 2 parallel mufflers.
then join to a single 3.5" if you want.

should be good for over 400crank Horse's. Any bigger exhaust will be overkill and drop your low end torque out too much

Is that what most people run with my combo, pretty sure they run twin 3 or twin 3 into single 3, maybe I'm wrong? I mean, wouldn't it choke up a bit running 1 3/4 headers with 3" outlets to twin 2.5" to single 2.5"?

Don't you mean 1 5/8" primary?

A full twin 2.5 is good for about 500hp and flows more than a single twin 2.5" into single 3". There is a thread around here somewhere with a chart showing pipe diameters and HP potential/flow etc.
