Alternator is all finished and hooked up now, had to shorten the wires to it. Also got a new K&N filter and got the ignition module repaired after we had some drams with it running like crap, altho I think it might have been the brake booster hose that came loose causing that
Thought I would take a picture of the bin that sits behind the car, hasn't been cleaned since before I got the car tuned and lots off reving in the driveway
Well here is the plate cut to size before I welded it in.
Anyway I got Aaron over to do some bog work on the boot during the week, used some fiberglass bog etc etc I duno he is the paint and pannel man I just watch
Sanded it up smoothish and put some etch primer onto it. Plan was to do the rest tomorrow at his work and get some proper welds underneath but that all depends what time I get the car back now.
So after that was all done it was time to go down to the exhaust shop. Droped it off at 8am this morning and this is where they were upto at 4.
First off, yes that is twin 3" over a live axel commodore
The exhaust now runs from the headers twin 3" to twin 3" Hi Flow cats to X over then over the diff into the varex then twin 3" dump pipes
(forgot to take pics of the varex!!!! Doh!) Its a proper 3" all the way, none of this crapy changing sizes half way crap!
I should be picking it up around 9-10 tomorrow morning then ill go from there. Also got the new fitting for the waterpump today I need to put on.
