383 tune

I am getting my vt 304 stroked to a 383. Is there any one around that will sell a memcal with a good 383 tune?

Yeah but was going to after it was run in. Was hoping to find a memcal with a goodenough tune just to drive around and run it in

Run it in on the dyno. Can get far better load conditions on the engine as well as knowing 100% that everything is safe.

Just driving it around does not always promote good ring sealing in the bores. You need gas pressure to help push the rings against the bores for them to bed properly.

Will the 355 hsv chip be any good for the 383 or will that be a waist of money?

Just don't get why your scrimping on the most important part of the build, the part that could possibly make you start all over again!
the most you will pay will be for the run in tune, after that it should be less than half the cost

and no the 355 chip won't work

It just that I live in a small town about 4 hours from Melbourne and don't know any where to get the dyno tune yet
