Name: Matt
Age: 29
location: Tassie
Car: 88' VL Commodore Berlina
Engine: NA RB30 converted to Turbo. VLT injectors/ecu, front mount, forward facing plenum, Bosch 044, eBay T70 turbo till I get my Garrett rebuilt. Runs 11 psi all day. Turbo smart progate45 waste gate - screamer, turbo smart bleed valve. 3" turbo back exhaust.
Paint: originally imperial blue, just been sprayed vl morning blue in acrylic (have never used 2k)
Gearbox: MF5 with exedy heavy duty clutch
Stereo: Are for boys. Original tape deck ftw!
Interior: tinted windows, factory sunroof
wheels: 17x8 rjr might go for a set of Simmons v5's or fr's later
Suspension: Pedders springs and shocks
Future Mods: finish off paint - silver and bumpers, new carpet, general tidy up inside. Engine back out to smooth bay and paint. Brake upgrade.
Was really untidy when I brought this car, have been slowly plugging away at weekends to get it to where it is now. Still a lot to go lol.
Warped the head( thanks to a leaky radiator) not long after I got it so put in a low km engine and it has loved life ever since. So far has been a very reliable set up.
Will add some pics when I finish rubbing and polishing this weekend!
