Now is the time to sell a used car. Cars are getting at least 20% better value than a few weeks ago. At the prestige auctions, people were bidding waaaaay too much for a Range Rover Sport diesel which had been in a crash and repaired (rear door panel spacings way off). $80,000 for the 2007 model, with approx 30,000kms.

A 2006 BMW X5 diesel went for $84,000 ith no service history, a nice big crack in the windscreen, football sized dent in the tailgate, split front bumper (which spreads to wheel arches) and still on origional oil from factory (no service since built). The car was in apalling condition, but went for its weight in gold.

If you are looking to sell, DO IT NOW!

it all depends on what your selling and where my dads a motor dealer and im going to it aswell and we've done like 2 sales in a couple of weeks and no1 else round town is selling much either
also auctions are making money cause so many yards are realy low on stock witch makes auction price go up
