Hi everyone, I recently purchased led strips to put in my front foot wells and I want to connect them up to my dome light, so when I open my door they will come on too. But to be honest I have no clue how to connect them up or which wire it is. Can someone please help? thank you

Easiest way, is to connect them to the light around the ignition switch.
This light is wired to the dome light and acts in exactly the same way.

Just take off the covers around the steering column and tap into the wires that connect to the light.

Just remember, that LEDS are polarity sensitive.
You could also, wire in a switch to isolate them, in the event you don't want them on.

Would you happen to know which wires they are?

Assuming you have the VX Executive, they should be Yellow/blue Negative and orange/black Positive.
When you take the covers off, you should be able to see the wires going to the ignition lamp.

Should be the same colours.
Just tap into the drivers side lights and run the wires to the passengers side.
It is possible to run a wire behind the centre console, under the dash.
All you need to do is to use a piece of stiff wire, like a coat hanger, Carefully push it through from one side to the other. once done, attach the wires to the coat hanger wire and carefully pull them through.
