Going to give my 2011 VE2 SV6 a good flush out this weekend, see if I can clear some more sludge up a bit.

Last time I went to SCA, there were quite a few different brands of oil flush, so I wasn't too sure which one to choose.
Is there one you guys would recommend that does a good job? Or will they all do the same.

As for oil, Castrol Magnatec full syth 5w30 is the right one yeah? I usually check it on the info they have there first :)
Or would you recommend a different brand? This is what I've used last time iirc

Castrol has never let me down in any of my cars. I will say though (if it's available here in Australia) to NOT get anything from Quaker State. Their synthetics are absolute shite, and will destroy your vehicle like they did my 2006 Ram 3500 that was nearly brand new at the time.

Personally I wouldn't use Magnatec, no specific reason why but I just see it as a middle of the road oil...
If you like Castrol I think Edge would be better, or something like Synpower, Penrite HPR etc.
FYI supercheap has Edge 5W-40 titanium for $29 tomorrow so that could be something to think about. I would think your owners manual lists a few grades of oil from 5W-30 up to at least 10W40 ? have a look. Being in QLD you're lucky you don't get really cold temps to worry about cold starts.

Yeah Magnatec Fuel Saver iirc
And yeah I've been told there's heaps of sludge causing the problems with my car, so I'm trying to keep it as clean as I can :(

I was seeing everywhere that it needs to be 5w30, but above someone also mentioned 10w40?
Will it cause any damage using something like that, as because I'm changing so often, I could run a different oil if it won't cause damage. As Super Cheap as doing a special on the 10w40 currently at like $29 for 5L
