I play guitar, started learning age 10. Played a lot at school, high school, concerts. Since leaving high school have done a couple of open mike nights at the pub etc. I was never in a band, I learnt a bit of singing as part of guitar musicianship.
I started on an old spanish acoustic; for 10th birthday got a yamaha electric; in yr 12 got a nice yamaha acoustic. The when I had my first job got a decent fender electric guitar with a decent amp. Have done a fair amount of songwriting too, nothing recorded though.....have written maybe 2-3 dozen songs of varying genres......
