- 1995 vr berlina series 2 ,1996 vs ss ,05 vz v6.
Hi all.I have recently taken posession of a 1995 vr berlina v6 sedan.Dash guages had to be replaced as the lcd displays were not working and needed to be for blue slip.Tracked one down and works ok.Cruise control was working after that .Took car in to see about getting another key duplicated ,mechanic plugged a computer in to it and said it would not talk to bcm and he could not help me,since then i called a mobile locksmith ,he tried the same,no luck with that but had a MAP remote programming tool.It worked !!
just wondering if cruise control may have some how been turned off through the computer accidentally by mechanic when he was pressing buttons whilst trying to initially getting a read for key ?
Is c/c driven by BCM ? Any advice is very much appreciated.
