Ok. Mid bass time.

Factory pods trimmed if unnecessary plastic and MDF rings cut. ( these will be fibre glassed to add strength and body).

Trial fitting to work out angles and clearances between door glass and trim.

With them sitting like this, they're 1.5mm off the glass. But because the scans have a mech excursion of 10mm, the rubber surround and cone will contact with the front section of the door pocket when pushed hard. So I'll either have to modify and re-shape that section of the pocket or make up a tapered spacer for the bottom section of the door trim to bring it out off the speaker. Next is to wait till the glue cures on the pods and fibre glass them.
