BEST EVA 12" SUB

im going to go see those "STOOGES" when i get another grand.
i will upgrade this sub. and splits now.
my amp at 4ohm was 700rms. im almost positive of that.
aint set on 1000Wrms sub, i was having a guess earlier with that size. clearly i need 700Wrms.

i want bigger and push my amp's etc. as some rich ass mofo driven a ford thinks he is something special getting everything installed and crap for 1400.
really i should have that beat quite easy! if i do my set-up right!

lol. soon after posting the statement about the splits i realised how stupid it was..

also ripped everything out and my original 6" in the door are a lowsy 30Wrms

what 30Wrms? damn i only had 15 watters stock in my car! thats crap! vl's get 30watters and vs's get 15 watters!

will say a 700Wrms sub sound as good as 2 350Wrms subs?

i would assume 2 would be better? like maybe clearer? im not exactly sure!

looks as though my boot will be getting a make over so i may aswell go all out!

Power rating is not a very good indicator of how good or how loud a sub will sound.

2 vs 1 would depend on the subs you're talking about. All subs sound different and have different levels of output, so we can't say 2 will sound better. I have one 12" that sounds better and goes louder than mates with two or three 12" subs.

well say i have $500? or any figure!

would i be best to get 2 insted of the one?

couldn't have put it better. i would go with 1 sub if you will spend the budget totally on that instead of splitting it between 2 subs, but i like quality.

im thinking that one 12" with say $700 or what ever spent on it is better then 2 12" with the money divided!
