Your LS1 is an N/A V6?

Context buddy. 5.7's above benefit as the intake system restrict the engines. V6 ecotecs are not restricted by their intake system. A decent filter and factory box is fine.

i compared my old s-pack with a 'big mouth' induction to one with out and top end was definetely alot better with the big OTR

Just to clarify, you compared 2 DIFFERENT cars and found them to feel different?

I put a SS Reduction CAI on my old s-pack and noticed nothing other than some more noise. When I put a high flow filter I noticed better throttle response but again about it.

If you compared your care before and after, with data to back it up, then we can talk "alot better" as there is also a little thing called the placebo effect.

Forgive me, I'm making wild and unfounded assumptions that comments in a thread about the best intake for a n/a V6 would be in relation to n/a v6's.

In that case, The best intake is really a bug catcher. It has the least restritions possible.
