Have you got the actuator in the boot?

Open up the boot lid and look at the lock mechanism, then see if theres a cable coming from it into a cylinder.

Is there a few plugs in the glovebox?

theres a decent size canister on the left side of the lock with i metal strip running to the lock and wires running to it so it would have to be it but they'res so swotch and by the look of it there never was on any of them, there is a whole for where a button would go i guess inside the glovebox up and under you gotta look but its on the far right hand side and upside down but nothing is there and i cant see any wiring for it

Depends how keen you are for it.

If you want it you can pick up a second hand switch from a VS or something for pretty cheap, then just chase the wires back from the part in the boot lid and maybe even re-run your own if you want.

I always had the remote boot release on my alarm remote so I never worried.

Mines black.. and I'm fairly certain it doesnt work. There's a whole cluster of wires and some sort of.. an.. adapter thingy that looks like it plugs in somewhere (but thats not why it doesnt work) I think the actual button is broke
