Car looks great man, pretty much what I want to do with my VC. Do you have any photos of how you mounted the charcoal canister and gear under the guard? Also what crossmember did you use for the T700, CRS?

Yeah mate crs xmember, I still had to elongate the holes a tad.

I'll post pics up of under guard things tomorrow for ya.

Canister is nothing flash. Just bent the line under the rail and ran hose to it.


Overflow just text screwed.





Mounted so it tilts for easy fill. But needs to be mounted lower cause it self syphons when parked nose down on a hill.

Went to the track last night. Was happy with the time for the lack of mods.




Car should go better as it starts to miss just before limiter and for about a second after gear change still missing. I'm going to run std computer next time to see if it goes better/worse

I used 225/50/16 on rear. next time I'll go a taller tyre 215/65/16
But first I need to find out why its missing/playing up.

This weekend I changed my valve springs to crane lt1 spec with new retainers and collets. No7 is a pain in the ass! Done a mcguiver and used a pair of tin snip handles as I didn't want to remove the booster.


The valve train has never sounded so quiet and now it actually revs to 6g, I can now feel the full powerband of the cam
I'm a happy vegimite today!
