c5 or c6 from brake callipers ?

Hello there, how do i go about finding out what type of front brake callipers i have... C5 or C6.

i have a 2001 VT series II ls1

Thanks in advance...

VX SS Series 2
VT-VZ brake calipers are all exactly the same (excluding HSV/SSZ).

They aren't C5 or C6, just standard VT Style Twin Piston with 296mm rotor.

C5 is a PBR/HSV 330mm rotor upgrade

C6 was on the Monaros and some HSVs i think with 320mm rotors.

SSZs are different again from memory with a weird ass 322mm rotor or something like that.

Now that makes some sense. Repco said i need to confirm weather i had C5 or C6 callipers before ordering some front disc pads.... sounds like they may be confused ?.

Sorry was meant to say it's a VT SS series II ls1, not a standard VT does this make any diff ?

Great thanks Dirbatua...

Was quoted $190 + gst for Genuine holden pads... i can get 3 different pad types at repco with price ranging from $60 to $130 for TRW pads

dont buy genuine holden pads. just spend what ur happy spending on aftermarket pads. might pay to try a few other shops than repco. repco stands for-
