Here are a few pics of my VY Series2 Berlina modified to appear like a Calais - hence the name CALAisBERlina. I have also included a couple of pics of the car as it appeared when first purchased in November 2007.
Mechanically, it is a stock standard 2003 Series 2 V6 Berlina, with 75000km on the clock. The only altered specification is the Calais Series 2 rims, 17x8's replacing the original 16's.
Modifications to the bodywork and interior comprise the following:
Upper and lower Series 2 Calais grilles
HBD front spoiler
Series 2 Calais rear bumper insert and reflectors
VZ Calais tail-lights
Series 2 lower rear quarter panel extensions
SV6 spoiler
Chromed insert on side protector mouldings
Full leather Series 2 Calais interior in "light shale" with 8 way power operation on both seats
Satin silver steering wheel spokes
Reversing sensors
Calais console bin light kit
Future modifications are restricted to recolouring dash centre panel to address scratched stereo controls and paint damage due to leaking car air freshener and maybe, FE1.5 factory suspension settings.
Other than that, the car will remain as it is at present.
